Consider the Cost:
Have you ever stopped to conisder the high cost of salvation? GOD set the cost of our salvation with the sacrifice
of His only begotten Son, JESUS CHRIST. CHRIST willingly suffered an agonizing death as payment in full for your sins and mine.
He opened the door to heaven for us to enter in. There is no other way to GOD but through CHRIST.
Vision:
Unity in the Body of CHRIST is evidence that JESUS CHRIST is who He claims to be according to His prayer. Our vision
is that churches throughout the county join with other churches in their own community to make a concerted effort to reach their entire
community for CHRIST. That means that between 3 and 5 churches would join together, without concern as to race or denomination, and
claim their community for JESUS CHRIST through prayer, open air revivals, canvasing the neighborhood, and holding community wide block
parties. Each group of churches in their community would be responsible for planning and implimenting their own outreach plan. In
this way, every home in Person County should be given the opportunity to receive CHRIST as personal LORD and Savior.
The key
is in three things: prayer, cooperation, and accepting one another. JESUS said, "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another." (John 13:35) Our love for one another is often the key that opens the door to the hearts of the lost.
Overcoming the prejudices of others is often an overwhelming task. That means it requires prayer and determination. When Israel was
ready to take the Promised Land, there was a mountain that still was inhabited by the giants, the sons of Anak. Caleb, now over 80
years old felt he had unfinished business with the inhabitants of the land because 40 years before 10 of the spies gve a bad
report. Caleb and Joshua gave a good report saying we are able to take it.
Now, as Caleb stood there, he looked toward this
mountain and said, "Give me this mountain". (Joshua 14:12) In that same way, we need to dedicate ourselves in prayer and say to the
LORD GOD, "LORD, give us this mountain that we may take it for Your honor". The battle is still the LORD'S
